Comment by Angela Ronson on July 15, 2011 at 8:26pm: I found art to be very therapeutic. Obviously I was working on fine motor. But now that I think about it, there had to be other stuff- sitting up is gross motor, cuz it was in a group/class, social skills. Neurogen could have been happening the whole time, but the art class took my mind off that and gave me something positive to focus on. The class was an alternative not required by this hospital's rehab program, so data was not kept. I'd say, though, it was an integral part of recovery.

I hope to have something interesting to report this fall.
