A midline frontal trephine craniotomy was made at the level of coronal suture and thalamic tumour was decompressed through transcallosal approach.

Left ventriculopritoneal medium pressure shunt has been done already. Tomorrow I shall be operating him for his tumour. Patient will be placed in supine position and a midline linear incision will be made just behind hairline. A 5 cm trephine craniotomy will be done more to right side. The exposed sagittal sinus will be covered with gelfoam and surgicel and dura will be opened on right side only. By retracting right frontal lobe corpus callosum will be split off midline to right side and I hope to land right into tumour. I have the help of BrainLab image guided system and shall try to excise as much as possible.
