This group focuses on modeling the activity of neural masses, rather than of individual neurons. Of particular interest are "mean field" type of methods: their mathematical analysis, numerical computation, and "real world" application.

Hi Ingo, you invited me three years ago. Better late then never. I invited Kevin Green, my PhD student and two students in Andrew Szeri's lab in Berkeley, who I met at the latest OCNS meeting in Atlanta.

I'm currently writing an invited article for NeuroImage 'Large-scale dynamics: Simple and complex' - basically a review of neural mass models and their relevance. If anybody has suggestions for topics/papers for me to cover please let me know.
