Modeling Migraine: From Nonlinear Dynamics to Clinical Neurology

Posted on August 1, 2009 at 3:38am 0 Comments

The title "Modeling Migraine: From Nonlinear Dynamics to Clinical

Neurology" refers to a recent international workshop in Berlin 2009,

which was part of the eighteenth annual Computational Neuroscience

Meeting CNS*2009.

A complete list of speakers etc. is found on the official workshop web site.

We will have another meeting in Bari 2010, and than continue maybe

every second… Continue

Hi
I am a student of Bachelors of Electrical Engineering. we are three group members, currently working on brain computer interface. Our project is "Wheel Chair control using Brain computer interface".

Basic concept is to detect the Brain signals for the motor actions and then to utilize these signals to drive a wheel chair.
Following are the Basic motor actions, that we are considering
1.Both left and right hand movements
2.Both left and right leg movements

i need your help in feature extraction method and classification method.
we are getting eeg signals from brain using modular eeg unit through serial port on pc via non invasive electrodes.kindly guide me about the best method for feature extraction and classification i.e having good accuracy. so that i can classify the motor actions

What I was thinking about was more a common group about clinical topics in
general. The critical mass for a "migraine group", or "autism group", for that
matter, might not (yet) be there. A "migraine-autism group" is clearly even
less usefull (Nouchine would be the only member, I guess), but clinical issues
in gereral might provide a common denominator. Just a thought.

I don't think there is much in common between migraine and my clinicial/developmental disorders.
