Thanks for invitation! I think the topic of consciousness is interesting on many respects. Besides classic proximity with working memory, executive and attentional issues, it deals with the foundation of sense of identity, with the cognitive control (e.g. meditation), voluntary activation of mental simulation (e.g. mental imagery).
