Hello Mathew! Hope you are fine. I have read your querries regarding the connections between the autoimmune disorders and the nervous system. I am extremely sorry for my late response to you. As, I am a little bit busy presently with various seminars and conferences.
Obviously, there is a relation between these two. Probably, the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis mediates the interactions; as both of the immune and the nervous system are bidirectionally interrelated with each other.
I'm just writing you here a very brief outline of the concept. I want to share the underlying mechanism in detail. If you dont mind, would you please send me your querries through mail to me at . I will be glad to communicate with you. Hope, we will have a very good relationship.
