Stephen Coombes commented on Ingo Bojak's group Neural Masses & Mean Fields
"I'm currently writing an invited article for NeuroImage 'Large-scale dynamics: Simple and complex' - basically a review of neural mass models and their relevance. If anybody has suggestions for topics/papers for me to cover please let…"

Neural Masses and Mean Fields

This group focuses on modeling the activity of neural masses, rather than of individual neurons. Of particular interest are "mean field" type of methods: their mathematical analysis, numerical computation, and "real world" application.
