No hope
This is a male patient having Ca lung with multiple metastasis in brain. I told his relalatives that there is no point in doing any surgery with these multiple metastasis and it is better to take him home and just give pain killers and some other symptomatic treatment. Would you like to do something like aspiration of fluid from cystic lesions , X-knifeor cyberknife tretment to this patient?

latest studies and our experience no matter waht we do life cannot be extended more than six months even with the best genetic good markers.

I think disease is too advanced and all the pros and cons were explained to relatives of patient. Basically he came to see me and opine whether lesions could be excised. He is seeing an oncologist and I do not know whether he was offered chemotherpy or not, since he never came back to see me.

Would it be small cell carioma? If it is, may be chemotheray may helps.
